    Jet2 adds Verona as new city break destination from Newcastle Airport for summer 23

    Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, the leisure airline and operator of European city breaks, has announced the addition of a new city break destination on sale for Summer 23 from Newcastle Airport – Verona.

    With this addition, customers and independent travel agents in the North East can now book flights and city breaks to four city break destinations from the base next summer. The other destinations for Summer 23 from Newcastle Airport are Rome, Krakow and Prague.

    Jet2 will operate flights and city breaks to the Italian city of Verona from Newcastle Airport from May 10 to September 27, 2023. The weekly services to Verona will gives holidaymakers easy access to Lake Garda and comes in response to strong demand from local customers and independent travel agents for Summer 23 city breaks.

    The largest of the freshwater lakes in Italy, Lake Garda in the country’s north is within easy reach of the popular tourist city of Verona. Surrounded by small, picturesque villages, majestic mountains and shorelines stretching over 90 miles, Lake Garda’s coves and clear waters is an ideal spot for windsurfing and swimming.

    The City Breaks programme from Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks offers a choice of four leisure city destinations for Summer 23 from Newcastle Airport, including the brand-new Verona (weekly flights), Rome (up to two weekly flights), Krakow (up to two weekly flights) and Prague (up to two weekly flights). Customers can choose from a flight-only option with Jet2.com or an ATOL protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks available for £60 per person deposit.

    Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include flights with Jet2.com including 22kg hold luggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 2-5 star hotels in central locations.
