In an exciting development for cruise enthusiasts, the Celebrity Apex is set to return to Southampton in 2025. This marks the cruise liner’s second season, highlighting its growing popularity and strategic importance in the European cruise market.

The Celebrity Apex will embark on an extensive itinerary out of Southampton, featuring more Arctic Circle and Norwegian Fjords routes than before. These offerings underscore the ship’s commitment to providing unique travel experiences, including the newly added port of Trondheim in Norway. This addition aims to enrich passengers’ cruising adventures with fresh destinations.

Besides Europe, the Celebrity Xcel will premiere its Caribbean season, sailing from Fort Lauderdale. This marks a significant expansion into tropical destinations for the Celebrity fleet. These changes illustrate the brand’s adaptability and forward-looking cruise strategies.

Also, Celebrity will present a mini-season of Icelandic sailings from Reykjavik aboard the Celebrity Silhouette in July and August 2025. This innovative offering provides a closer look at Iceland’s unique landscapes and culture.

Furthermore, the Celebrity Infinity and Constellation will sail through Greece and Turkey, offering scenic summer 2025 journeys from Athens and Rome. These routes offer a deep dive into Mediterranean culture and history, appealing to seasoned travellers seeking new adventures.

President Laura Hodges Bethge noted, “We’ve placed our incredible ships in every corner of the world for guests to experience iconic places…,” highlighting Celebrity’s mission to offer enriching travel options globally.

The introduction of new destinations and the enhancement of popular routes underscore their resolve to offer memorable and diverse cruising experiences. This strategy positions Celebrity Cruises as a pioneer in the evolving maritime tourism industry.
