Celestyal Cruises is redefining the maiden voyage of its newly launched ship, Celestyal Journey. This 1,260-guest vessel will explore fresh routes and visit new destinations, promising an enriched travel experience for its guests.

With a focus on bringing new and exciting experiences, the cruise line’s updated itineraries now include stops in Croatia, Montenegro, and Italy. These changes mark a significant departure from the original Three Continents route, paving the way for a season filled with discovery and adventure.

    New Itineraries and Destinations

Celestyal Journey, launched in September, is set to chart new waters in its maiden 2024 season. The ship will make its debut calls in three countries—Croatia, Montenegro, and Italy—offering travellers fresh perspectives and experiences. Key ports such as Kefalonia, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Corfu, Bari, and Katakolo have been incorporated into the updated itineraries, providing an enticing mix of history and culture.

These new voyages articulate Celestyal’s commitment to responding to customer feedback and preferences, offering more culturally enriched travel routes. The changes are not just limited to geographic novelties but also in-depth cultural explorations, making each port call a memorable experience.

The newly structured itineraries will replace the previously planned Three Continents route, allowing guests to embark on a voyage steeped in European charm and tradition.

    Customer Loyalty and Promotions

To honour customer loyalty, Celestyal is offering a free Three Continents cruise to guests rebooked on the new itineraries. This gesture not only reinforces customer satisfaction but also enhances the overall value of the cruising experience.

Guests booked on these voyages will enjoy promotional rates and the added benefit of retaining their commission on all rebooked cruises. This approach underscores Celestyal’s dedication to providing high-quality service and customer-centric policies.

    Exploring the Adriatic and Aegean

The new seven-night “Heavenly Adriatic” itinerary will launch on 2 March, featuring extensive day visits and a late-night stay in Dubrovnik, a city known for its stunning medieval architecture.

Set to continue into 2025, these itineraries promise enriching experiences in both the Adriatic and Aegean seas, with further details to be announced later.

Celestyal Journey will also embark on a new seven-night “Idyllic Aegean” itinerary, departing on 9 and 16 March. This circuit, rounding from Athens, will visit Thessaloniki, Kusadasi, Heraklion, Mykonos, Santorini, and Milos, each stop offering unique cultural and historical narratives.

    Trade Collaborations and Communication

Celestyal’s trade team is actively engaging with agents to provide updated information and accommodate customers on the revised itineraries. This proactive approach ensures seamless updates and delegation of travel options to meet diverse needs.

All existing reservations for the March 2024 itineraries will be revisited, and guests will be contacted directly to facilitate necessary adjustments. The line is committed to preserving all agent commissions for both retained and rebooked cruises.

    Leadership Perspectives

Lee Haslett, Celestyal’s Chief Commercial Officer, emphasised the strategic importance of listening to customer feedback in reshaping itineraries. Italy, Croatia, and Montenegro remain popular choices among travellers, with each location rich in history and beauty.

Haslett highlighted Celestyal’s ambition to offer exceptional value and unforgettable experiences. The free cruises are described as a token of appreciation for customer loyalty and continued support.

    Future Voyages and Fleet Development

Celestyal is not only focusing on immediate itinerary changes but is also looking ahead with a fleet refresh. This move signals a broader strategy to enhance its competitive standing within the cruise industry.

Plans for future itinerary expansions are underway, ensuring Celestyal remains at the forefront of innovative and diverse travel experiences. The brand’s commitment to evolving with passenger desires is evident in their strategic planning and execution.

    Booking and Eligibility

Guests maintaining their March itinerary bookings will be eligible for the complimentary additional cruise, which can be scheduled anytime over the next three years. This offer adds substantial flexibility and value for returning travellers.

Celestyal’s refreshed itineraries for the Journey’s maiden 2024 season demonstrate a clear commitment to enriching passenger experiences through diverse and culturally engaging voyages. The strategic alignment of customer feedback with new travel opportunities highlights the cruise line’s dedication to ongoing innovation and customer satisfaction.
