Riviera Travel has launched innovative themed river cruises for 2024, showcasing renowned figures like gardening star Charlie Dimmock.

These unique cruises offer guests an unparalleled opportunity to engage with experts through onboard lectures and guided excursions.

Renowned gardening TV presenter Charlie Dimmock will grace the Gardens & Natural Beauty of the Rhone cruise. Her presence promises to add a rich layer of horticultural expertise, enticing enthusiasts keen to explore the scenic landscapes of the Rhône. The cruise itinerary includes visits to the botanical marvels at Parc de la Tête d’Or in Lyon, the Jardin des Villes in Vienne, and Rocher des Doms in Avignon, culminating with a guided tour of Arles to explore the famed landscape garden L’Escape Van Gogh.

The Regal Rhine Cruise is set to feature former royal butler Grant Harrold and royal chef Colin Alderson. This eight-day journey through Swiss waters offers passengers expert talks and excursions, enhancing their voyage with an element of regal charm. Ports of call include Strasbourg, Koblenz, Rüdesheim, and Speyer, where guests can indulge in both historical and culinary experiences.

Royal experts Harrold and Alderson bring a unique personal touch to this journey. Their anecdotes from service to the British Royal family provide guests with an intimate peek behind palace doors, making it an enriching voyage.

Sarson emphasised, “They are also ideal for repeat guests who want to try something new.” The opportunity to connect with industry experts and fellow enthusiasts is a compelling aspect of these journeys.

The integration of recognising figures from the gardening and royal realms aligns perfectly with Riviera’s strategy to deliver enriched travel narratives, fostering a deeper connection with clients.
