Windstar Cruises’ flagship, Wind Surf, is set for a major transformation under a multi-million dollar refurbishment.

This ambitious initiative starts in November with a focus on public spaces and guest amenities.

Windstar Cruises has announced a significant transformation for its flagship vessel, the Wind Surf, with the first phase of a multi-million dollar refurbishment set to commence this November in Cadiz. This revitalisation project is poised to bring a contemporary elegance to the vessel, enhancing its appeal for the Classic Caribbean holiday cruises scheduled to begin in December.

The refurbishment will see a comprehensive redesign of the Wind Surf’s public spaces, featuring new layouts, furniture, and art installations. The aim is to create an environment that combines luxury with comfort, akin to a boutique hotel. The ship’s lobby will be transformed into a more welcoming area, equipped with additional seating and aesthetic updates that promise to elevate the guest experience.

In addition to dining improvements, the vessel will see technological enhancements, including the introduction of interactive televisions in all guest staterooms and the addition of a modern Wayfinder app. These updates reflect Windstar’s commitment to marrying traditional cruising elegance with modern conveniences.

Moreover, the inclusion of Broadmoor and Sea Island Suites, along with an upgrade to the Owner’s Suite, will ensure that accommodations are aligned with premium standards, offering enhanced comfort and style to all guests.

Other ships in the Windstar fleet, including the Wind Star and Wind Spirit, are also slated to undergo significant upgrades. These refurbishments mark a pivotal initiative by Windstar to remain competitive amidst an ever-evolving cruise industry landscape.

Windstar’s investment in Wind Surf’s refurbishment signals a commitment to excellence and innovation.

The enhancements promise an enriched experience for cruisers, aligning with modern travel expectations.
