Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, the UK-bsed leisure airline and operator of city breaks, have announced their largest ever Iceland programme for Winter 24/25.

Responding to high demand for trips and holidays to Iceland, Jet2’s programme includes scheduled winter services and dedicated trips from ten UK bases, allowing travellers to book well in advance. This early release of the Iceland programme is a first for Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks.

Between October 2024 and April 2025, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate over 170 outbound services. These flights are timed for travellers who want to witness Iceland’s natural wonders, including the Northern Lights, as well as those planning vacations during the October half-term, Christmas, February half-term, and Easter holidays.

Iceland’s popularity remains strong, with early and late winter, as well as spring being particularly favoured by customers and independent travel agents. From the cityscape of Reykjavik to the spectacular Northern Lights and the stunning Golden Circle with its geothermal lagoons, spas, and waterfalls, Iceland offers a diverse range of experiences.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: ‘Iceland is a destination that has continued to see strong demand due to its many stunning natural wonders, so we are delighted to be launching our biggest ever Iceland programme for Winter 24/25. As well as offering more scheduled services and dedicated trips than ever before from ten of our UK bases, we have also extended the season from Birmingham and Manchester Airports and put on additional flying from London Stansted and Bristol Airports. Thanks to this expansion, we are offering customers and independent travel agents the biggest and best flexibility when it comes to visiting Iceland, and we have no doubt they will be flocking to book flights and city breaks to this magical destination. The beauty of Iceland, coupled with the fantastic benefits available through Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, means we are looking ahead to a very busy programme next winter.’

Scheduled services are available from Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester, and Newcastle International Airports. Additionally, unique trips are offered from Belfast International and Edinburgh Airports.

Customers can choose between flight-only or package holiday options. Jet2CityBreaks package options are available with a deposit of £60 per person and include a guided Northern Lights Tour, Jet2.com flights with 22kg hold luggage, airport transfers, and a choice of 3- and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik. The package also offers the opportunity to explore authentic Icelandic cuisine. Additionally, various excursions, such as visits to the South Shore, Golden Circle, and Blue Lagoon, can be purchased.
