    Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their largest ever Iceland programme for Winter 25/26. This programme includes new routes from Bournemouth and Liverpool John Lennon airports, broadening accessibility to this once-in-a-lifetime destination.

    The programme has launched earlier than ever to meet strong demand for early bookings. The coverage now includes services from 12 UK airports: Belfast International, Bristol, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester, and Newcastle International. With over 170 outbound services between October 2025 and April 2026, the expanded capacity offers more than 34,000 seats, a 6% increase compared to this coming winter. Travelers can enjoy flexible options with stays available during key periods such as October half-term, February half-term, Easter holidays, and the countdown to Christmas.

    Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks offer both flight-only and package holiday options. Their packages include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with Jet2.com, 22kg hold luggage, airport transfers, and a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik. Additionally, customers can purchase excursions to the South Shore, Golden Circle, and Blue Lagoon.

    Airport-Specific Details:

    * Belfast International: Three dedicated trips.

    * Birmingham: Scheduled Monday and Thursday services.

    * Bristol: Six dedicated trips.

    * Bournemouth: Three dedicated trips.

    * East Midlands: Six dedicated trips.

    Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: ‘Iceland is a destination that continued to enjoy enormous popularity thanks to its abundance of natural wonders such as the Northern Lights and Golden Circle. As well as geothermal spas, geysers, natural parks and the incredible Aurora Borealis, Iceland also offers the ultimate city break destination in stylish Reykjavik, which is the world’s northernmost capital. The dazzling beauty of Iceland, coupled with the award-winning benefits available through Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks, means we are confident that this programme will be another resounding success, and we will see more customers than ever before visiting this breathtaking destination.’

    Gretar Mar Garoarsson, Director of Airline Relations & Route Development at Keflavik Airport, said: ‘We at Keflavik Airport are thrilled to welcome Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks and their new and expanded winter schedule for 2025/2026. We are delighted to hear of the capacity increase and that two new destinations, Bournemouth and Liverpool, will be added to the current ten. This is a continuation of Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks adding to their schedule every year since their first full program at Keflavik Airport in 2019. This is a clear sign of the opportunity Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks see in Iceland as a continued important destination for the UK market.’
