Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have recently announced a substantial expansion of their Italian programmes, meeting the increasing demand for ‘La Dolce Vita’ from customers.

This expansion includes the release of 20,000 outbound seats across various UK airports to Sardinia, Sicily, and Verona for both the Summer 24 and 25 seasons. As the UK’s largest tour operator and the third-largest airline, Jet2 is expanding connectivity by adding capacity from eight prominent UK airports, providing customers and independent travel agents with a more extensive array of options to explore these Italian destinations.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are also adding more flights and holidays during popular periods such as late Summer 24 and Easter 25. Recognizing the allure of Sicily, with its enchanting beaches, rich culture, cuisine, dramatic landscapes, and the majestic Mount Etna, the companies are introducing additional flights and holidays for both Summer 24 and Summer 25. The Summer 24 season for Sicily is extended until mid-November with added flights from Manchester and London Stansted. For Summer 25, strategically timed April flights are now available from Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, and London Stansted, while additional November flights have been added for late Summer 25 from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted.

Further, to meet the growing demand for services to Sardinia, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more September, October, and November flights for late-Summer 24 from Manchester Airport and increased November flights from London Stansted for the same period. Furthermore, the Summer 25 season to Sardinia is extended with a range of April flights from Birmingham, Manchester, and London Stansted, timed for the Easter season.

In addition, Verona, renowned for its beautiful medieval setting and connection to Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, sees a significant increase in capacity. Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have put more flights on sale in October 24 to Verona from Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International Airports. The Summer 25 season in Verona is also extended with flights introduced in time for Easter from Birmingham, Edinburgh, and Manchester. And responding to the demand for late Summer in Verona and Lake Garda, Jet2 has added more September/October 25 flights from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Leeds Bradford, and Newcastle International.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: ‘Our Italian programme is enjoying strong demand, which comes as no surprise when you consider the stunning beach holiday and city break options that it offers customers and independent travel agents. Sicily, Sardinia and Verona are a trio of Italian delights, and today’s announcement represents a significant expansion of all three destinations. Based on the demand we are seeing, we expect these flights and holidays to sell very quickly, as customers look to escape to these magical destinations.’
