    easyJet resumes flights and holidays to Palma from Newcastle

    easyJet and easyJet holidays has announced the launch of flights and holidays from Newcastle to Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands, providing options for much-needed holidays next year summer.

    Flights to Palma are scheduled to take-off from May 2, 2022 operating up to five times a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, throughout the summer season.

    Flights are available to book from today on easyJet.com, with fares from Newcastle to Palma de Mallorca from £22.99 for flights and £290 per person for seven-night package holidays. All easyJet holidays include flights, accommodation, 23kg of hold luggage and transfers on beach breaks.

    Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to operate from Newcastle to Palma once again for next summer, with convenient and affordable connections to one of our customers’ favourite beach destinations in the Balearics. We remain committed to strengthening our unrivalled short-haul network and providing more affordable and easy connections to our customers across the north east by offering low fares and more choice when they travel.’

    Leon McQuaid, Director of Aviation Development, said: ‘We are delighted to see the return of international flights with easyJet at Newcastle International Airport – a fantastic step forward and a vote of confidence from the airline in the Airport and the region as we move into 2022. The new five-weekly summer service to Palma will provide even more choice for our passengers to one of the region’s favourite sunshine destinations.

    ‘From family friendly accommodation to chic boutique hotels, Majorca makes the perfect summer holiday or short trip getaway. With around 300 days of sunshine each year the island is also one of the world’s most popular cycling destinations.’
