Involved Holidays Expands Range with Nine New Destinations for 2026

A specialist walking tour operator has significantly expanded its product portfolio, introducing nine fresh itineraries across Europe and the Canary Islands as part of an ambitious growth strategy for 2026 and 2027.

Involved Holidays has unveiled its first ever A4 brochure, marking a strategic shift in how it presents its offerings to UK travel agents. The new publication features a redesigned layout with streamlined destination and itinerary pages, making it easier for agents to navigate the expanded range of holidays.

Among the fresh additions to the operator’s portfolio are seven new Mediterranean and Atlantic destinations: Hidden Eastern Algarve, Ibiza & Formentera, Mallorca & Menorca, Beautiful Balkans, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, and Sicily. Each has been developed to complement the company’s established formula of combining guided walks with leisure time.

However, the most innovative aspect of the launch comes with two itineraries that incorporate rail travel into the experience. Valencia Trails & Rails and Porto Trails & Rails represent a new direction for the operator, though the train journeys serve purely as transportation rather than altering the core walking holiday concept.

The Albanian itinerary stands out from the rest of the collection by offering five guided walks during a seven-night stay, compared to the standard three walks featured in most other packages. This enhanced activity level has been designed to appeal to clients seeking a more energetic holiday whilst maintaining the relaxed approach that defines the brand.

Richard Forde, Sales Director at Involved Holidays, said: “We are delighted to bring agents an extended product offering with the launch of our new 2026 brochure. A4 in size, this easy to use, easy to rack brochure details our fabulous new itinerary options alongside our most popular holidays, broadening destination variety with a view to offering more opportunities for agents to sell. The expansion of our product is a demonstration of just how popular our walking holidays are and we are so proud of the growth we’re seeing. Yet, the strategic importance of the trade remains, and is the very reason we continue to reinforce our commitment with useful tools that genuinely help them to sell our product successfully.”

The brochure is now available to order through Tradegate, either in pack form or as individual copies. Travel agents will have access to more than 100 departure dates spanning the next two years, providing flexibility for clients with varying schedules.

Practical considerations have been built into the offering, with 14 holidays available without single supplements and departures from 20 regional airports across the UK. These features are designed to remove common booking barriers and widen the appeal of the holidays.

The operator’s approach focuses on small group tours that balance exploration with relaxation. Each week-long package includes a minimum of three walking tours, with participants free to spend remaining time at their own pace. The walks themselves are designed for mixed abilities, typically covering between five and nine miles.

Involved Holidays currently features more than 40 hiking holidays in its overall portfolio, taking in some of the finest national trails across the UK and Europe. The company caters to solo travellers, couples, and private groups seeking a less intensive alternative to traditional hiking breaks.

As an independently owned business, the operator brings more than 50 years of specialist experience in the guided walking holidays sector. This heritage underpins its trade-focused approach, with the new brochure representing the latest effort to support agents with practical sales tools.

The timing of the launch positions travel agents to begin taking bookings well in advance of the 2026 season, allowing them to capitalise on the growing demand for activity-based holidays that don’t require high fitness levels. The expansion also reflects broader industry trends towards experiential travel and slower-paced tourism.

With the fresh brochure now in circulation, Involved Holidays is banking on the combination of new destinations, rail options, and enhanced distribution materials to drive sales through the trade channel. The operator’s website provides additional information for agents looking to familiarise themselves with the expanded range.
