ITC has announced a comprehensive management restructure that brings its luxury brands under unified leadership. This strategic realignment positions the company to advance in the luxury travel market.

Under the new structure, Lisa Smith is appointed Managing Director of the luxury brands, including Inspiring Travel, Private Clients, and Spectate. The aim is to streamline operations and focus on growth.

    Management Restructure and Leadership Changes

ITC’s recent management restructure marks a significant turning point as Lisa Smith is appointed managing director of the luxury brands division. This strategic move consolidates Inspiring Travel, Private Clients, and Spectate under her leadership. Smith’s track record since joining ITC in 2020, initially as chief operating officer and then as managing director of Inspiring Travel, positions her well to drive this robust section forward.

The overhaul also sees Judie Hinkson transition into the role of chief operating officer, having been a vital part of the company for over three decades. Her extensive experience as managing director of specialist businesses is expected to be invaluable in enhancing ITC’s operational efficacy across these newly unified brands.

Strategic Growth Plans and Financial Goals

In alignment with ITC’s ambitious growth strategy, Paul Smith has joined the company as chief financial officer. Previously serving as finance director B2B Europe at dnata Travel Group, his expertise is expected to steer financial strategies that boost customer volumes and commercial growth. This appointment underscores ITC’s commitment to strengthening its fiscal foundation and expanding its market presence.

As part of its growth agenda, ITC is focusing on forming formidable partnerships with key suppliers and trade partners. This collaboration aims to deliver personalised, high-quality experiences and products to clients, setting ITC apart in the competitive luxury travel market.

Impact on Sales and Business Development

Kathryn Robinson assumes the role of head of sales and services for ITC, building on her leadership as head of sales for Inspiring Travel. Her promotion signals a strategic emphasis on refining client services and sales processes across ITC’s luxury brands.

Natalie Russell-Blackburn Perkins, who has dedicated 15 years to ITC, steps into her new role as head of business development and client partnerships. Previously managing the private clients sector, her experience is expected to drive business growth and enhance partnerships with clients and stakeholders. Such strategic appointments are pivotal as ITC looks to leverage and expand its luxury offerings.

    Celebrating Milestones and Future Outlook

ITC is marking its 50th anniversary, a testament to its enduring presence in the travel industry. A series of events and global familiarisation trips for more than 50 agents are planned, reflecting the brand’s commitment to engaging its partners and showcasing its diverse offerings.

The creation of ‘An Around the World compilation of 50 Experiences for 50 Years’ is part of ITC’s celebratory initiatives. This showcase is designed to highlight the broad spectrum of products and experiences available through its luxury brands. The initiative not only commemorates ITC’s historical achievements but also lays the groundwork for future growth in the dynamic luxury travel sector.

    Client-Centric Service Enhancements

Central to ITC’s strategic direction is a focus on client-centric services. Chief Executive Phil Aird-Mash emphasised the importance of this in ITC’s future, stating that the restructuring allows the team to align with areas of strength, thereby ensuring exceptional service delivery.

By continuously refining its service offerings, ITC aims to provide unmatched travel experiences. Aligning business goals with client needs ensures that ITC remains at the forefront of the luxury travel market.

    Leadership Vision and Strategic Focus

Phil Aird-Mash, ITC’s Chief Executive, speaks of an exciting future with the recent restructuring, viewing it as a pivotal moment in ITC’s journey. He highlights the importance of having a passionate and knowledgeable team in place to drive the company forward.

He emphasised the critical role of strategic partnerships and the leveraging of the team’s strengths to achieve the company’s ambitious goals in the luxury market. As ITC steps into this new chapter, the focus remains steadfast on exceptional service and innovation.
