Aito Specialist Travel Agents have experienced a remarkable increase in their average booking values, marking an 89% rise compared to the previous year. This notable growth highlights the organisation’s success and commitment to delivering high-quality travel experiences through dedicated partnerships.

    Record-Breaking Booking Values

Aito Agents have witnessed an impressive growth in booking values, with the average sales value soaring to £13,750 per booking over the last year. This surge surpasses previous years and reflects the agents’ efforts and strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing their service offerings through Aito operators.

    Factors Driving Growth

The significant rise in booking values is attributed to a growing number of Aito Agents promoting Aito operators, which typically involve higher-value transactions. This strategic focus has enabled agents to target partners effectively, thereby maximising opportunities for substantial bookings.

Agents have proactively sought to engage with clients, providing tailored solutions and highlighting the value of booking through Aito operators. This personalised service has paid dividends as client trust in the expertise of Aito Agents has strengthened.

Key Insights from the Aito Conference

The annual Aito conference, held in Leicestershire, served as a platform to reveal these impressive figures and discuss future initiatives.

More than 100 delegates, including 53 agents and 46 tour operators, attended the event, which featured workshops on key topics such as time management and leveraging social media.

There were also opportunities for agents to engage in short appointments with operators, fostering stronger business relationships and facilitating new transactions.

    Exciting Developments Announced

During the conference, the establishment of the Aito Famference in The Algarve was announced, attracting attention for its unique approach to agent education.

Plans for revamping the Excellence Scheme were also discussed. The anticipated changes aim to simplify understanding and increase the prominence of the scheme, rewarding agents for their engagement with Aito initiatives.

The Excellence Scheme will now more comprehensively recognise agents’ efforts, from participation in events to marketing and promotional activities focusing on Aito’s offerings.

    Celebrating Agent Achievements

The conference celebrated the achievements of agents through the All Stars & Excellence Awards, honouring top-performing individuals and agencies.

New awards introduced include the Agent’s Chair award, which celebrates exemplary advocacy for independent agents and Aito, won by Jacquie Cole of Bakewell Travel.

Aito awarded accolades like the Gold Excellence Award to Haslemere Travel and recognised others including Full Circle Travel and Peakes Travel Elite with Silver Excellence Awards and Bronze Awards acknowledging further accomplishments.

Tour Operator Recognition and Plans for Future Growth

Tour operators were equally recognised, with Lusso being named Tour Operator of the Year for their outstanding contribution to the sector.

The conference highlighted plans for future growth, emphasising strengthening relationships between Aito and its partners, driving higher revenues.

With a commitment to innovation, Aito introduced a new event, a silent disco, adding a creative element to the conference engagements and fostering a vibrant community spirit among attendees.

    Aito’s Ongoing Commitment to Excellence

Aito remains committed to enhancing the skills and knowledge of its agents, planning educational events and initiatives to support continued excellence.

Looking ahead, Aito aims to foster collaboration between agents and operators to ensure sustained growth and success in the travel industry.
