Travel agents are set to benefit from a new guide by Audley Travel, enhancing their knowledge on African safaris.

    • The 32-page guide covers safari experiences across diverse countries, from Madagascar to Tanzania.
    • It’s designed to help agents create tailor-made safari trips, drawing from Audley Travel’s extensive expertise.
    • Audley Travel’s study indicates rising interest in wildlife trips among premium travellers.
    • This guide aims to transform agents’ ability to meet client aspirations for safari adventures.

Audley Travel has introduced a new safari guide aimed at equipping travel agents with the necessary expertise to sell African wildlife experiences. The comprehensive 32-page publication, ‘An Agents Guide to Audley Safaris’, will be distributed to 2,500 agents and made available through various distribution partners and in digital format. This initiative seeks to enhance agents’ proficiency in organising safari experiences, encompassing countries from Madagascar to Tanzania, and featuring the iconic Big Five wildlife encounters.

Research from Audley Travel has identified a notable trend, showing that 16% of premium travellers engaged in wildlife or safari trips over the past five years, and an anticipated 20% plan to undertake such trips in the next two years. Greg Thurston, Trade Sales Manager at Audley Travel, articulated the guide’s intent, stating, “Born out of the desire to share a deeper level of our specialists’ expertise and passion with agents, the new safari guide aims to be a comprehensive profile of how to plan a tailor-made trip of a lifetime for clients and make their safari dream a reality.”

This guide emerges as a strategic tool, crafted to share Audley Travel’s decades-long knowledge and cultivated relationships within the African safari domain. It aspires to direct agents to the best wildlife viewing locations, match clients with proficient guides, and recommend the most suitable lodges for post-safari relaxation.

The safari guide is structured to assist agents, whether managing a client’s inaugural visit to the African wilderness or satisfying a seasoned traveller’s unique desires. Thurston emphasises the guide’s value, noting, “Behind every one of our safaris is decades of knowledge and carefully nurtured relationships. We know the best spots for seeing animals in action, the best guides to locate them, and the best lodges to unwind in afterwards.”

Audley Travel’s guide is poised to significantly refine travel agents’ proficiency in crafting bespoke safari experiences, aligning with clients’ safari aspirations and growing interests.
