Citalia has launched a new destination guide as part of their latest brochure to inspire travel to Italy, particularly amid peak travel times.

    • This innovative guide seeks to provide comprehensive support to travel agents by offering expert insights and guidance on Italy’s diverse regions.
    • The guide is organised into five themes: coasts, islands, lakes, countryside, and cities, showcasing top places to stay and explore.
    • With a growing interest in multi-destination holidays, Citalia responds with new tours and hotels, enhancing its offerings for 2024.
    • Erin Johnson highlights the increased demand for diverse holiday experiences, emphasising tailored travel options for clients.

Citalia has unveiled a destination guide incorporated into their latest brochure, aiming to elevate interest and inspiration for travel to Italy, especially during peak travel seasons. The operator’s innovative approach is intended to arm travel agents with detailed information and personalised recommendations to assist clients effectively. Insights from specialists, who possess extensive travel experience throughout Italy, form the backbone of this guide.

The guide is thoughtfully divided into five thematic categories—coasts, islands, lakes, countryside, and cities—each spotlighting the finest accommodations, dining spots, cultural learning experiences, and exploration opportunities. This structured format is designed to facilitate a seamless travel planning experience, highlighting Italy’s rich and varied landscape.

Acknowledging the surge in demand for multi-destination travel experiences, Citalia has expanded its offerings with the addition of three new escorted tours and the inclusion of over twenty new hotels for the coming year. Notable additions, such as the Villa Rosa Hotel in Lake Garda, Palazzo Giovanelli in Venice, and Hotel Plaza Opera in Sicily, reflect Citalia’s commitment to providing diverse and quality lodgings.
