    Globus Restructures Trade Support with New Sales Team

    A strategic reshuffle within the Globus brands has been initiated to strengthen support for travel agents.

    • Key roles are filled by individuals with extensive industry experience, aligning with the company’s commitment to agent focus.
    • Innovations such as a new training portal and agent incentives are set to launch to further support the trade.
    • Globus is expanding its offerings with new routes and tours, underlining its commitment to growth and excellence.

    A strategic reshuffle within the Globus brands has been initiated to strengthen support for travel agents. The restructuring involves adding new staff to the trade sales team. By incorporating these changes, the company aims to bolster its focus on agents, which is fundamental to its business success.

    The new sales team structure includes both external appointments and internal promotions to enhance trade relations. Jayne Lambert transitions from AmaWaterways to become the key account manager for Cosmos and Globus. With her extensive background with G Adventures, Hurtigruten, and Kuoni, Lambert is expected to drive the development of national accounts.

    Key roles are filled by individuals with extensive industry experience, aligning with the company’s commitment to agent focus. Kelly Calver assumes the role of key account manager for Avalon Waterways, supporting cruise agencies, while Karen Milward brings expertise from Wendy Wu Tours and others into her new role as business development manager.

    Innovations such as a new training portal and agent incentives are set to launch to further support the trade. The planned portal aims to provide comprehensive training resources for agents, complemented by familiarisation trips and incentives designed to deepen product knowledge and engagement.

    Globus is expanding its offerings with new routes and tours, underlining its commitment to growth and excellence. Noteworthy are the new Douro and Bordeaux routes with Avalon Waterways, marking a significant expansion of the brand’s cruising options. Additionally, the introduction of tours across Cosmos and Globus Journeys is set to enhance their market propositions.

    The strategic changes and new initiatives underscore Globus’ dedication to strengthening its trade partnerships and enhancing market presence.
