Gold Medal’s latest incentive gives agents a chance to win a £4,000 holiday to Australia.

    • This incentive coincides with the launch of Gold Medal’s Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific programme for 2024-25.
    • Bookings must be made by October 4 to qualify for the prize draw.
    • The programme features multi-centre holidays and an array of hotel and resort options.
    • Growing interest in Western Australia highlights an emerging trend in travel preferences.

Gold Medal has unveiled a unique opportunity for travel agents with a prize draw offering a holiday to Australia worth up to £4,000. This incentive aligns with the launch of their latest brochure featuring the Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific programme for the 2024-2025 season. To participate, agents need to make bookings by the 4th of October, with the winner to be revealed later that month.

The new brochure offers a variety of multi-centre holiday packages, complemented by a selection of hotels and resorts. According to Deborah Wadhams, head of long-haul product, “Sydney and the rest of New South Wales continue to be the top-performing destinations in this region.” However, there is a noticeable increase in interest towards Western Australia, indicating a shift in traveller preferences.

Perth, noted as the closest entry from the UK, is increasingly popular and is frequently paired with stopovers in destinations like Singapore. Flight routes have expanded with increased capacity to the Northern Territory, motivating the inclusion of more accommodation options in Darwin, Alice Springs, and the iconic Red Centre.

The Gold Medal initiative not only promotes early bookings but also highlights the evolving travel trends in Australia.
