Jet2holidays has contracted a specialist firm to conduct thorough safety audits at waterparks located in over 50 hotels across Europe. This significant step underlines the commitment of Jet2holidays to ensure the well-being of their guests. Properties in popular holiday destinations such as Spain, Greece, Portugal, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Turkey, and Croatia are set to be inspected.

The audits will be carried out by The Fun Lab, an engineering firm known for its expertise in safety inspections. This initiative marks an extensive effort to uphold the highest safety standards in leisure facilities associated with water-related activities. The Fun Lab will utilise a specific safety checklist tailored for these venues to ensure compliance and safety.

Hotels that successfully meet the safety criteria will be awarded the ‘Safe Fun’ certification. This accreditation is intended to reassure visitors of the rigorous safety protocols in place at their chosen accommodation. Jet2holidays aims to provide peace of mind to its customers, ensuring every aspect of their holiday experience is both enjoyable and safe.

Chief Executive of Jet2holidays, Steve Heapy, commented, “Award-winning customer service is what Jet2holidays is synonymous with, however, a critical part of that service is the well-being and safety of everyone that holidays with us.” This collaboration with The Fun Lab not only ensures enjoyment but also the rigorous application of safety standards.
