Jules Verne has introduced seven innovative European walking tours, offering a blend of adventure and enrichment. These tours span from the idyllic landscapes of Italy’s Dolomites to the charming settings of Crete, designed for passionate explorers. The focus is on leisurely exploration coupled with unique cultural experiences. A standout is the ‘Walking in the Secret Algarve’ which features coastal and mountainous treks. Each tour ensures a comprehensive experience with accommodations, guided walks, and local insights.

Jules Verne has launched seven new European walking tours tailored for those seeking both adventure and enrichment. These tours, characterised by their slow pace, allow participants to immerse themselves in the local culture and landscapes while engaging in gentle physical activity.

From the dramatic peaks of Italy’s Dolomites to the serene coastlines of Crete, each tour is crafted for keen explorers eager to experience Europe in depth. The itineraries include a variety of terrains and settings including olive groves, ancient villages, and themed gardens, ensuring a diverse and enriching adventure.

The tours are designed to emphasise leisure and culture rather than speed, providing travellers with ample opportunities to explore at their own pace. The seven-night ‘Walking in the Secret Algarve’, departing on November 2, 2024, highlights the diversity of Portugal’s Algarve region with its mingling of coastal walks and rugged mountain paths.

Participants of the Algarve tour will enjoy accommodations at the Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort, complete with breakfast, six dinners, and five guided walks. This package also incorporates return flights from Gatwick, ensuring a seamless travel experience. Additionally, a local guide accompanies each tour, offering insights into the natural and cultural history of the area.

Jules Verne’s European walking tours offer an unparalleled journey through some of Europe’s most captivating landscapes, each promising a unique blend of leisure and cultural insight.
