AmaWaterways has reported a significant year-on-year growth in its UK trade distribution. This achievement is attributed to strategic partnerships and innovative programmes.

The luxury river cruise line has experienced a 65% increase in overall trade sales. This surge indicates a robust collaboration with both existing and new agency partners.

In a remarkable development, AmaWaterways has seen a 21% increase in UK agent distribution. This represents the highest number of bookings from individual agencies in the company’s history. This achievement underscores the effectiveness of AmaWaterways’ strategic initiatives aimed at expanding its market presence.

Overall, trade sales have significantly risen by over 65% in the year to September compared to the same period last year. Such growth reflects the growing demand for AmaWaterways’ luxury river cruise offerings, facilitated by enhanced collaboration with industry partners.

Managing Director Jamie Loizou emphasised the company’s commitment to strengthening trade partnerships. “Our ethos has always been to focus our efforts on working with the trade,” he stated. This dedication has been pivotal in driving the substantial increase in sales and market reach.

AmaWaterways attributes much of this success to its dedicated UK team. By tirelessly fostering new relationships and bolstering existing ones, the team has played a vital role in the company’s growth strategy.

Looking ahead, AmaWaterways is not resting on its laurels. With six new ships set to join the fleet in 2025, the company is poised for further expansion.

The expansion aligns with the company’s goal to increase the number of agents they work with. Ensuring that current partners continue to perceive AmaWaterways as a leading company to do business with remains a top priority.

The programme provides an opportunity to showcase the company’s comprehensive portfolio, strengthening its distinctive position in a competitive market.

Jamie Loizou highlighted how meeting the team and exploring AmaWaterways’ offerings differentiates them from competitors. “Once they meet the team, learn more about our portfolio, and see how much support we offer, they understand why we stand apart,” he added.

This approach not only enhances brand recognition but also solidifies the company’s reputation as a trusted partner within the industry.

The strategy of expanding agent networks is fundamental to AmaWaterways’ business model. By nurturing relationships with agents, the company ensures sustained growth and strengthens its market position.

The deliberate focus on building robust trade relationships has proven to be a successful formula for continued prosperity.

AmaWaterways’ record growth in UK trade distribution is a testament to its strategic and innovative approach. As the company continues to expand its fleet and agent partnerships, it remains well-positioned to sustain its momentum in the competitive luxury cruise market.
