And ‘fair’ it is indeed. Built during the 4th century as a shrine to Verona’s patron saint, St. Zeno, the exquisite building dominates the large square, and is flanked with a beautiful 72 metres tall bell tower, which is mentioned by Dante in the Divine Comedy.
Verona’s rich history is endless but if you fancy something a little more light hearted, you can enjoy the scenery whilst wandering around designer stores such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
