    Jet2holidays Sees Unprecedented Demand Surge

Jet2holidays experiences a surge in demand following their peak campaign launch, indicating a booming interest in travel.

    • Bookings with Jet2holidays have spiked by an impressive 150% compared to pre-Christmas figures.
    • Late winter and summer 2024 holidays are particularly popular among Jet2holidays customers.
    • Interest in finding independent travel agents has doubled as consumers seek professional guidance.
    • Popular destinations include Spain, Turkey, Greece, and other Mediterranean locations.

Jet2holidays has witnessed a remarkable surge in demand since the beginning of its peak campaign in December, marking a significant boost in holiday bookings. The operator reported a 150% increase in bookings between Boxing Day and January 5 when compared to pre-Christmas levels, highlighting a robust interest in travel among consumers.

The demand for Jet2holidays’ offerings has been particularly strong for late winter vacations and bookings for summer 2024, as customers take advantage of the early opportunity to secure their preferred holidays. This trend illustrates a clear inclination towards planning ahead, ensuring that travellers can enjoy their desired destinations and accommodations.

Further evidence of the growing interest in holidays is demonstrated by a noticeable increase in usage of the company’s online travel agent finder page, which has doubled in traffic. This indicates that consumers are actively seeking advice from independent travel agents to make informed travel decisions.

Destinations such as the Canary Islands, the Balearics, mainland Spain, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Italy, Malta, and Bulgaria have emerged as popular choices. Additionally, there is a noticeable shift in consumer behaviour, as more travellers opt for all-inclusive packages while moving away from traditional stay lengths of seven, ten, or fourteen nights.

Jet2holidays has expressed anticipation for Sunshine Saturday, expecting yet another surge in bookings. Chief Executive Steve Heapy commented, “This time of year has traditionally been the peak period for holiday bookings, and this year is no exception.” The firm’s reputation for delivering exceptional customer experience continues to drive this demand, with many customers, both new and returning, eager to book their holidays before availability diminishes.

Jet2holidays is poised to continue capitalising on the high demand, with further increases anticipated.
